Posh Boutique 2 is the follow up game to Posh Boutique seeing Alicia the main character from the first game return to achieve her ambition to take her boutiques to the world wide market. The game once again is very girly so is aimed at the female player who is probably interested in fashion and shopping. Posh Boutique 2 follows the usual pattern of time management games while expecting the player to serve customers quickly, hire staff, do the housekeeping and generally make the business a success. The game is similar to its predecessor but with added features and enhancements to keep the interest. One new customer is the journalist (who needs to be treated like the VIP) bringing a new hidden object mini game at the end of every level. You can also make sure your shop wins a good review from the fashion magazine by finding the same type of items for customers as quickly as you can without using your hints.

Another way to earn a cash bonus is to serve more than one customer at a time creating a combo or when customers arrive in pairs serve them together. Watch out for customers becoming angry or impatient too, but you are able to appease them by giving them discount vouchers. Clearing up after messy customers is a must so its good when you can hire a cleaner to do this as she wont need to be told to clear up she just does it for you.

You can tend to customers needs by bringing them into the various fitting stations. Some deal with hats, some with shoes, some with suitcases and others with various accessories. The game has lots of interesting upgrades that increase speed, train up the cleaner or improve the fitting stations. You can also improve your shop with neon window signs, mannequins plus jewelled displays to attract your customers.

Winning trophies are another new feature. These are available at the finish of each level and are displayed in the trophy room for you. The added advantage of several mini games makes Posh Boutique 2 a fascinating game to play. It has superb graphics plus a really good backing track so will keep you pleasantly amused for hours.
